AT&T and Motorola have announced the Motorola Karma QA1, a compact phone with a slide-out full-QWERTY keyboard that gives users easy access to their favorite social networks and more. The device features a 2.5-inch QVGA display, a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo support, and a microSD support.
Users can send text messages, instant messages with services like Yahoo! Messenger and Windows Live Messenger, and have homescreen links to Facebook and MySpace. The Karma features a 2 megapixel camera that can shoot photographs and video, which can be easily uploaded to social networks and should look great on the phone’s small though high-resolution 2.5-inch QVGA display.
Music lovers will appreciate Bluetooth with A2DP for use with stereo headphones and the fact that they are able to bring their music with them with the Karma’s 100MB of internal memory and expandable microSD card slot. The Karma also features aGPS technology so users can purchase AT&T’s Navigator turn-by-turn direction service if they wish.
The Motorola Karma QA1 will be available June 28 for $79.99 after a two-year customer agreement and mail-in rebate.
