iPhone 3GS Jailbreak Is Done, But It’s Coming After iPhone Firmware 3.0.1

The iPhone Dev team has officially announced that the iPhone 3GS is ready to jailbreak, however, they won’t release it too soon because of Apple. According to the Dev team, Apple is going to release a new firmware soon: the iPhone OS 3.0.1 which will solve a lot of bugs, including the iBoot-family bugs which means that ultrasn0w will not work anymore. These guys worked hard and finally managed to crack the iPhone 3GS, but they can’t release the jailbreak because Apple will find a way to make the method not to work meaning that your iPhone 3GS will become “unjailbreakable” and you wouldn’t like that.

If the iPhone 3GS jailbreak is comint out now, then the iPhone Dev team will make more harm than good as the users will not be able to jailbreak their smarthphones after the iPhone 3.0.1 firmware. The Dev team says that they also have to look deep into more issues like the push notification system, but you don’t have to rush as it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Well, folks the iPhone 3GS jailbreak is near, and you don’t have to blame the Dev team because they’re not releasing it. I think you should rush or “force” Apple to release the iPhone firmware 3.0.1 sooner.
