Apple to release iPhone 3.0 firmware for Apple devices in a few hours
The much awaited Apple iPhone OS 3.0 firmware update will finally arrive today at around 12:02 am in U.S. and 10:30 pm in India. Note that the iPhone 3.0 update will be freely available for iPod Touch (first generation), iPhone (first generation) and iPhone 3G devices. While second generation iPod Touch owners will have to pay $9.95 (Rs. 480 approx.).
Check Apple’s iPhone software update link – to download it directly from the web. Or else, one can start iTunes, connect the Apple device and click on ‘Check Updates’ button.
