ASUS recently announced a mini PC powered by Intel’s desktop range of CPUs and G35 chipset. Its dimensions are 20 cm(D) X 290 cm (H) X 80 cm (W) and the entire loaded unit, complete with inner hardware, weighs just 3.4kg.
Intel CPU of your choice - Core2 Duo/Pentium Dual-Core/Pentium 4/Celeron D on G35 chipset motherboard coupled with ICH8 SouthBridge. Due to space constraints, they probably were forced to make use of soDIMMs (laptop memory) but that’s little to worry as max supported capacity and speed is 4GB and 800MHz (dual channel supported) respectively. It can also be home to a slim slot-loading Blu-ray Super Multi or DVD Super Multi, up to 1TB 3.5-inch SATA II HDD and MXM-compliant NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT 256MB GPU.
